Job summary

Ramos Law in Colorado is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to lead a legal support team while managing a caseload from inception to resolution.

You will supervise staff, coordinate discovery, draft pleadings, manage docket deadlines, conduct legal research, and use case management software to document work. You’ll communicate with clients, attorneys, and witnesses to support trial readiness and optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience as a litigation paralegal or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of litigation paralegals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Coordinate workload distribution to maintain balanced caseloads and efficient progression.
• Manage a docket of litigation cases from start to finish, tracking deadlines and coordinating with attorneys.
• Draft and revise pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and disclosures per court rules and case plans.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel to provide updates and gather information.
• Collect, review, and summarize depositions, exhibits, medical records, and discovery materials to support trial prep.
• Coordinate court filings, schedule depositions/hearings, and maintain calendars and deadline summaries.
• Conduct legal research on case law and jurisdictional requirements to support attorneys.
• Utilize case management software to organize files, track case values, and document work for compliance and audits.
• Collaborate with attorneys and departments to improve workflows and client service.
