Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, familiarity with state and federal filing procedures, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of paralegal experience in litigation.
• Background in trucking/transportation defense, personal injury defense, or general civil litigation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
• Excellent organizational and case management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
• Prepare and file pleadings in both state and federal courts
• Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
• Draft discovery requests and responses
• Coordinate document production and organization
• Assist with deposition preparation and summarization
• Conduct legal and factual research
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials
• Support attorneys during mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
