About the Role

This position will support attorneys in all phases of litigation and handle a variety of general paralegal duties for state and federal court matters. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys through all stages of litigation
• Draft, prepare, and review legal documents
• Manage case files and maintain litigation deadlines
• Coordinate and respond to discovery requests
• Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and court filings
• File documents in both state and federal courts
• Assist with trial preparation and case management

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Trucking litigation or personal injury defense experience preferred
• Experience with state and federal court procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure
• Located in Houston, TX
• 100% on-site during the first 60 days
• Transition to a 4:1 hybrid schedule after onboarding
• Collaborative, team-oriented culture
• Firm is actively expanding with multiple new hires across legal support and attorney teams
