Job summary

BANA LAW is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our Century City office. You will manage deadlines, draft pleadings, handle discovery, subpoenas, and court filings, and coordinate trial preparation from filing through trial in California civil cases.

The role requires strong calendaring, case management, and the ability to supervise support staff and communicate with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably plaintiff-side personal injury.
• Strong working knowledge of California civil procedure and court filing requirements.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, deposition notices, subpoenas, and other documents.
• Exceptional calendaring and deadline-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and coordinate service of complaints and other documents.
• Draft and serve deposition notices and subpoenas for witnesses.
• Prepare discovery requests and review responses with attorneys.
• Maintain case calendars and monitor deadlines and statutes.
• Support trial preparation and coordinate witness and expert scheduling.
• Communicate with clients professionally and supervise assigned assistants.
