Job summary

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across toxic tort matters, handling case prep, discovery, and trial readiness. You will manage deadlines, prepare filings through ECF, conduct research using PACER and Westlaw, draft pleadings and motions, organize deposition materials, and coordinate with courts, clients, and experts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of litigation support, a paralegal certificate (or degree), and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Experience with e-filing (ECF), PACER, Westlaw, and managing discovery/trial preparation.
• Paralegal certificate preferred; relevant experience may be substituted with education.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through the litigation lifecycle from inception through trial.
• Prepare and file documents through ECF and maintain court deadlines.
• Conduct legal research using PACER and Westlaw; draft pleadings, notices, and motions.
• Organize deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries; coordinate depositions.
• Communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, and experts; contribute to strategy meetings.
