Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Litigation Paralegal for our fast-paced, in-house government legal team in Chantilly, VA. You will support eDiscovery activities, workflow management, and attorney–paralegal collaboration in a dynamic portfolio.

Responsibilities include preparing complex legal documents, coordinating trial materials, and ensuring filings comply with court rules. Strong research skills with Westlaw/Lexis and CM/ECF experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed.
• At least two years of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience is helpful.
• At least one year of automated litigation support; strong knowledge of federal/state court systems and research resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with LEXIS and Westlaw.
• Familiarity with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems; eDiscovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex legal documents and manage eDiscovery workflow.
• Assist attorneys in trial prep with notebooks, exhibits, and witness lists.
• E-file documents with the U.S. District Court using CM/ECF.
• Maintain electronic case files and calendar deadlines in MS Outlook.
• Coordinate with victim/witness staff and adhere to rules on victims’ rights.
