Job summary

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a national law firm, currently has a full-time opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal with the option to work out of our Houston or Dallas office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

The role requires at least five years of general civil litigation experience, with a preference for transportation matters. You will research law, prepare documents, manage case files, and coordinate discovery and trial materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of general civil litigation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation/personal injury and property damage is preferred.
• Proficient with LexisNexis, Pacer, Relativity, Sanction, TrialPad and iManage.
• Strong written and oral communication; excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files from inception through mediation/arbitration/trial/settlement.
• Prepare subpoenas, discovery requests, interrogatories and document productions.
• Draft briefs, pleadings, and trial/mediation binders.
• Prepare deposition materials and manage witness lists and trial exhibits.
• Track billable time in accordance with firm policies.
