Morrison Foerster is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Litigation team in San Diego. The role supports attorneys and paralegals in managing complex cases, performing in-depth legal research, and preparing court-ready documents.

You will work under deadlines, mentor junior staff, and engage with clients to strengthen case objectives. Candidates should have significant discovery management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Seven years of relevant litigation experience.
• Trial experience required.
• Significant experience managing discovery requests, responses, and document production.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of accountability and proactive ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cases and develop relationships to gather data and resources.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and prioritize assignments.
• Review and analyze documents, perform legal research, and prepare factual analyses.
• Create and maintain files, documents, and data.
• Prepare and edit written materials including correspondence and legal drafts.
• Mentor junior paralegals and staff.
• Demonstrate strong case management and lifecycle skills.
• Engage with clients and manage relationships under contract terms.
• Research using client-approved tools and platforms.
• Summarize client materials for case objectives.
