Job summary

Morrison Foerster invites applications for a Senior Paralegal (IP Litigation) based in New York or Washington, DC. You will support a high‑performing IP Litigation team, coordinating with attorneys and paralegals to manage complex cases, conduct in-depth research, and prepare court-ready documents.

Strong project management and proactive ownership are essential. The role requires seven years of IP litigation experience and trial exposure, with ITC experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Seven years of IP litigation experience required.
• Trial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ITC experience a plus.
• Experience managing discovery, responses, and document production.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex IP litigation cases and develop relationships to gather data and resources.
• Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Review and analyze documents and data, perform research, and prepare draft materials and analyses.
• Prepare and edit written materials including memoranda, drafts of legal documents, and factual analyses.
• Oversee and mentor paralegals and temporary staff; provide feedback on performance.
• Meet billable requirements and submit time entries weekly.
