You will manage complex cases from inception to resolution, draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and coordinate with clients and attorneys. Job description

We are seeking a friendly, self-motivated, highly skilled team player for a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our fun, dynamic legal team. This role is pivotal for the firm. In this role, you will provide expert support across a broad spectrum of our litigation matters in the areas of business, employment, real estate, and trademark, ensuring the seamless management of complex cases from inception to resolution. Your expertise will help our lawyers be effective advocates and facilitate effective communication. Responsibilities

• Manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence using document management systems such as Clio, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, LogikCull, DISCO, and AI tools that we use (we will teach you everything!).
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and cite checks for pleadings.
• Draft, review, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
• Coordinate and support all phases of litigation including case preparation, discovery processes, depositions, and trial support.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and internal teams to gather information through interviewing and facilitate case progress.
• Assist attorneys with procedural law compliance by tracking deadlines, filing documents electronically, and maintaining case records.

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven litigation paralegal experience supporting litigation teams in a high-touch environment with a strong understanding of procedural law.
• Some knowledge of our practice areas of business, real estate, employment, and/or some trademark.
• Proficiency in legal software including document management systems, Word processing tools like Microsoft Office Suite, and legal research platforms such as Westlaw. We use AI tools specialized for us. We will teach you everything.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex legal information accurately.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at client communication and drafting clear legal documents.
• Experience handling confidential information responsibly with high ethical standards.
• Mastery of civil litigation support procedures including document review, proofreading, CCP, FRCP, court rules, filing protocols, and courtroom procedures.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proactive problem-solving skills are essential.

Experience:

California litigation paralegal: 10 years (Required)
