Job description

The Senior Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys by managing case files, conducting research, and preparing legal documents for litigation matters. This role is ideal for a candidate with 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally within AmLaw 100 firms.

This global law firm is top ranked for their work with Fortune 250 companies and major financial services clients in securities and corporate control litigation, class actions, commercial litigation, corporate investigations, and media and entertainment disputes.

Description
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are updated and accessible.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of court filings and other legal documents.
  • Utilize litigation support software to organize and analyze case data.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Profile

A successful Senior Litigation Paralegal should have:

  • BS/BA from an accredited college required.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally within global firms
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (Relativity, Nuix Discover) and litigation support software (Live Note, CaseMap).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • An understanding of legal terminology and court procedures.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset to manage complex cases effectively.
