Job summary

Atlanta-based boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in a busy litigation practice. This full-time, onsite position requires daily attendance and a 6+ year civil litigation background. Employment law experience is a plus and there is a focus on billable work.

The role includes drafting, e-filing, discovery, research, and trial preparation, with interaction with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience required.
• Employment law experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
• Excellent proofreading, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines.
• Experience working in a billable environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, proofread, and format pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• E-file documents in Georgia state and federal courts.
• Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation timelines.
• Assist with all phases of discovery, including document review and production.
• Conduct legal and factual research.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Track time and consistently meet billable hour requirements.
