Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited law school
• Member of the South Dakota State Bar or eligible to become a member
• Experience in litigation and supervision desirable

Responsibilities

• Represent the Department of Social Services in litigation, including administrative hearings and circuit court.
• Plan and execute litigation, prepare witnesses, motions, briefs, and exhibits, and argue cases.
• Lead and supervise staff within the Division of Legal Services and coordinate with interdepartmental teams.
