Job summary

Distinct | North America in California is seeking an experienced attorney to handle senior defense work spanning general and product liability, premises, and catastrophic injury, closely aligned with the firm’s aviation practice. The role offers hybrid work from San Francisco, Los Angeles or Irvine with a caseload of 10 to 20 matters.

The position includes a monthly bonus plan in addition to annual performance bonuses, plus benefits such as student loan assistance and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across all aspects of litigation.
• Sharp legal writing ability.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to juggle multiple matters and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Investigating claims and setting case strategy.
• Drafting and responding to discovery, and reviewing documents for production.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Drafting pleadings and motions, and arguing them at hearings.
• Preparing cases for mediation and trial, and seeing them through.

Job description

You'll be handling senior defense work, general liability, product liability, premises and catastrophic injury, with a lot of it sitting alongside the firm's aviation practice. Which is a nice change from another slip and fall.

Hybrid, from San Francisco, Los Angeles or Irvine. A caseload of 10 to 20 matters, so you actually know your files.
