Orion Placement is seeking a senior litigation attorney for a hybrid role based in Los Angeles. You will lead sophisticated professional liability and employment matters from inception through resolution, working directly with executives and clients while mentoring junior attorneys.

Active California bar and 5+ years of relevant experience are required. The position offers high-level responsibility, collaboration with a strong team, and opportunities for growth within a premier litigation

Formación

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California bar admission required.
• 5+ years of professional liability and/or employment litigation experience.
• Strong litigation strategy, legal writing, deposition, discovery, and client management skills.
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities appropriate for a senior-level attorney.
• Trial, arbitration, mediation, or significant motion practice experience is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sophisticated professional liability and/or employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and provide practical, high-level counsel to clients.
• Draft and oversee complex motions, pleadings, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Manage client relationships and communicate directly with executives, professionals, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor associates and collaborate with attorneys across the litigation team.
• Evaluate case exposure, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate favorable outcomes.
• Manage multiple complex matters while maintaining high standards for responsiveness, analysis, and client service.
