A client calls with a problem in Arizona. Or Ohio. Or Alaska.

You don't refer it out. You walk it down the hall, so to speak, because the firm has an office there. It has offices in every state, in fact.

For a senior litigator, that changes what you can say yes to.

I am recruiting for an Am Law 100 firm that wants an experienced civil litigator in its Williamsburg office. This is a role for someone with 7+ years who takes cases from inception through trial and wants a platform big enough to keep their clients' work in house.

They're open on level, which is why the salary placeholder covers Senior Counsel through Partner. The firm's national bands are $140,000 to $215,000 for Senior Counsel/Of Counsel and $190,000 to $275,000+ for Partners. Williamsburg figures are still to be confirmed.

Compensation also reflects business generation, so a book counts.
