We're a leading U.S. property and casualty (P&C) insurance company. Our Claims team is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Adjuster to manage complex Auto Bodily Injury (ABI) claims.

This role is responsible for the thorough analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of the most complex, multi-state Auto Bodily Injury claims, often involving litigation and disputed coverage, liability, and damage issues. You will serve as a technical expert, representing the organization in various legal settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the settlement of litigated cases. This includes gathering facts, analyzing testimony, and developing and executing comprehensive claims resolution strategies.
• Handle existing losses or first notice lawsuits involving issues of great complexity where the policyholder’s coverage is in question.
• Work in close partnership with defense counsel and external vendors to bring about timely, cost-effective conclusions.
• Represent the company at mediation, arbitration, and trials. Review and analyze contracts, leases, and identify risk transfer opportunities.

What You Need to Apply

• Typically has 5+ years of litigation experience with an insurance carrier
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; industry designation preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.) and the ability to work in a paperless environment.
