Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Coordinator IV Secondary Literacy to coordinate literacy curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional learning for grades 6-12. You will support campuses, teachers, principals, and staff in implementing a standards-aligned literacy program with HQIM and strong lesson design.

The role reports to the Director Literacy and requires collaboration across the district to drive data-informed instruction, professional learning, and district initiatives, with flexible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree in Education is preferred.
• Texas Teaching Certification (valid) preferred.
• Three years of middle/high school literacy teaching experience with a track record of improving student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Designs and adapts HQIM and writes lessons aligned to the core program.
• Identifies and supports adoption and integration of effective instructional resources.
• Contributes to districtwide professional learning plans based on data trends.
• Builds capacity of campus leaders and teachers to implement HQIM with fidelity.
• Delivers instructional support, assessment, and professional learning for stakeholders.
