Job summary

CRB is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with deep expertise in liquid processing systems for the food and beverage industry. You will lead design and execution of process systems for liquids in beverages, dairy, sauces, and other fluid products.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating with clients and vendors, and delivering key deliverables such as P&IDs and energy balances.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering for liquid food or beverage systems.
• Knowledge of sanitary design, CIP systems, and fluid handling equipment.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA, 3-A codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of liquid processing systems for food and beverage manufacturing facilities.
• Translate client requirements into process design scope and deliverables.
• Manage and coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and construction partners.
• Oversee P&IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment specs, and process narratives.
• Support activities: vendor package management, FAT, risk assessments (HAZOP/HACCP), 3D model reviews, commissioning/support.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development.
