PHEAA is seeking a Senior Linux/Unix Kubernetes Administrator to support and manage complex infrastructure across on-premises data centers and AWS cloud environments in Harrisburg, PA. The role requires expert hands-on work with AIX/RHEL, Kubernetes, virtualization, storage, and security.

PHEAA is seeking a Senior Linux/Unix Kubernetes Administrator to support and manage complex infrastructure across on-premises data centers and AWS cloud environments.
This position requires a highly experienced infrastructure professional with strong expertise in AIX/RHEL, Kubernetes, AWS, virtualization, storage, networking, security, automation, and disaster recovery.
Design and manage Linux/Unix and Kubernetes environments across on-premises and AWS platforms.
Administer AIX, RHEL/Enterprise Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization, and storage infrastructure.
Support AWS migrations and services across cloud and physical data center environments.
Manage high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery solutions.
Troubleshoot networking components including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancing, VLANs, proxies, and gateways.
Develop automation and administration scripts using Bash, KornShell, and Python.
Manage Linux security, certificates, keys, ACLs, PAM, IAM, and vulnerability remediation.
Support SAN, NAS, S3, LVM, RAID, and backup/recovery technologies.
Administer KVM, VirtIO, QEMU, Podman, Docker, and LXC environments.
Provide production and on-call support when required.
10+ years of professional Linux/Unix administration experience.
Hands-on experience with AIX and RHEL.
Strong Kubernetes administration and implementation experience.
Strong AWS/cloud infrastructure experience.
Experience supporting enterprise on-premises infrastructure.
Strong understanding of storage, virtualization, containers, networking, security, and disaster recovery.
Proficiency with Bash, KornShell, and Python scripting.
