Peraton is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator/TTO Lead to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic group delivers information security solutions, performs vulnerability assessments, and provides enterprise-level security services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience as a System Administrator on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a BS degree, totaling 20 years of SA experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Linux environments is required. Must possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• DOD 8570 compliance with minimum of IAT Level 2 is required.
• Ability to lead a technical team (system administrators, ISSEs, etc).
• Ability to accommodate shiftwork as needed, including weekend support, is required.
• Experience with monitoring mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission. Must be able to analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
• Extensive collaboration with project personnel and partner/customer groups is required – strong communications skills are a must.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
