Job summary

Open Systems Technologies Corporation seeks an experienced System Engineer with Linux administration to support cloud and on-premise systems for a geospatial mission operation team. You will lead system changes, work with government and contractor points of contact to troubleshoot issues, and ensure security-compliant configurations.

Ideal candidates have TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 Security+ certification, and strong scripting abilities, with hands-on experience in RHEL, Slurm, MPI, and HPC

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph post hire
• Must meet DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Linux clusters and HPC environments
• Experience provisioning end users in Linux environments
• Experience with security compliance (STIG/IAVA) and vulnerability remediation
• Experience scripting for administration and automation

Responsibilities

• Lead system changes and improvements; coordinate with government and contractor POCs to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain security compliant configurations and update SOPs and troubleshooting guides
• Manage and support multi-node Linux environments with HPC workloads
• Document operational procedures and perform regular backups/snapshots of VMs
• Collaborate with security teams to support ISCP exercises
