Job summary

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Senior Linux System Engineer for a 100% onsite role at Fort Huachuca, AZ. You will review, analyze, and provide Tier III support for patches and updates, testing baselines in EOF before release to RCCs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Linux admin experience and IAT Level III certifications. Expect hands-on architecture design, STIG compliance, and enterprise patching workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of Linux administration experience.
• An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for degree.
• IAT Level III certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
• Develops Enterprise Technical Procedures for applying patches and security configurations in the EOF.
• Ensure Linux systems stay compliant with baseline requirements and STIGs.
• Monitor solutions via centralized alerting.
• Create an OS lifecycle plan integrating DoW STIGs and security standards.
