Job summary

Agile Defense on-site in Oahu, HI seeks a Linux Systems Engineer to deploy, manage, and secure Red Hat Enterprise Linux across Army and MI Domain networks, including on-premises and AC2SP cloud environments.

The role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance to start, IAT Level III (CISSP/CASP), RHCSA, and an additional cloud-related certification. A Bachelor's degree or 15 years of experience is required; salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 per year, with on-site duties in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field or 15 years of related experience.
• Experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance to start (Must Have Clearance).
• RHCSA certification and an additional specialized cloud or related certification.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure Linux-based servers.
• Develop and enforce RHEL baselines per security requirements and STIGs.
• Manage RHEL lifecycle: installation, upgrades, patching, decommissioning.
• Manage packages with YUM/DNF; configure DNS, DHCP, NFS services.
• Harden systems using STIGs and RMF compliance.
