ManTech is seeking a Linux System Administrator in Laurel, MD to join a dedicated team delivering enterprise infrastructure for a global workforce supporting national defense missions. The role supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, the foundation of all Enterprise IT for MPO.

Responsibilities include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Linux systems, IT infrastructure support, capacity planning, and problem resolution across servers, storage, and networks.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 12+ years of Systems Administrator experience or 15 years with an associate’s degree or 20 years with a high school diploma.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Proficient with troubleshooting in a Linux Red Hat environment.
• Extensive experience with VMware.
• Experience with automation/configuration tools such as Splunk or Ansible.
• IAT I certification (DoD 8140) within 60 days of starting.

Responsabilidades

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Linux operating systems and related software.
• Provide support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations and monitoring.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Support dispatch system, hardware problems, and resolution processes.
• Optimize system operations and perform capacity planning.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems related to servers, applications and software integration.
