Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as Linux Systems Engineer/Administrator.
• Strong expertise in RHEL (7, 8, 9) administration.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible automation and Ansible Tower.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of OpenShift container platform.
• Strong understanding of application servers: Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, WebSphere.
• Experience with cloud migrations and application modernization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support IT infrastructure including server hardware and Linux operating systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Linux OS (RHEL 7, 8, 9).
• Install, configure, and manage middleware components such as Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, WebSphere.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for OS upgrades, OS hardening, and automation tasks.
• Experience with Ansible Tower / AWX for configuration management and orchestration.
• Build and manage virtual machines in Azure Cloud, including mobility and services migration tool installation.
• Provide guidance and implementation support for OpenShift and Azure cloud environments.
• Interact with clients to resolve system, application, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Analyze application performance and ensure availability and performance objectives are met using monitoring and performance tools (AWS).
• Manage DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, OpenShift, AWS CodeDeploy.
• Develop AWS CloudFormation templates to automate EC2 provisioning, software installation, and service startup.
• Deploy and manage application updates across different versions on JBOSS and Tomcat environments.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and best practices across on-prem and cloud platforms.
