Job summary

MANTECH in San Antonio, TX seeks a motivated Linux Systems Architect to join the LOS team. You will oversee design, implementation and maintenance of our cloud‑compute infrastructure, leveraging Linux expertise and automation to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires strong Linux background, Ansible, AWS, and security concepts, with DoD 8140 IAT II certification and multiple related certifications. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive compliant IT outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 10 years’ SA experience or 5 years extra SA experience substituted for a degree.
Deep Linux experience (RHEL 8/9/10, Amazon Linux, Rocky, etc.).
Experience with Ansible and cloud services such as AWS/Lambda.
IAT II certification (DoD 8140) required at start; acceptable certifications listed.
Two IT certifications from the specified list (MCSE/RHCSA/VCP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Perform high-level design, specifying system performance and interface requirements.
Develop conceptual designs or models to address requirements.
Analyze problems to determine technical solutions.
Write white papers and develop user requirements based on evaluating solutions.
Maintain knowledge on new and existing products, technologies, and architecture.
Design and build IT framework; guide IT projects to compliant outputs.
