Job summary

MANTECH International Corporation seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Linux Orchestration Services team in San Antonio, TX. You will help design, implement, and maintain the organization’s cloud compute infrastructure with a strong Linux and automation focus.

The role calls for Python, Linux, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), along with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and DISA STIG knowledge. A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required to perform mission-critical work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years OR associate’s degree with 15 years OR 20 years (no degree requirement) of relevant Software Engineering experience
• Proficient in Linux systems & strong skills in Python, JSON, YAML, Bash
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or HCI technologies
• Automation tools such as Ansible and frameworks for CI/CD
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS/EKS
• Proficient in Git and documentation of capabilities
• Knowledge of applying DISA STIG standards

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes or models to innovate solutions for mission requirements
• Evaluate new and existing technologies to solve operational problems
• Identify capability gaps and innovate mitigations
• Evaluate, develop, or test code and tools to meet performance objectives
• Apply computer security principles for robust mitigation of attack vectors
• Utilize CI/CD principles for agile DevOps
