BCT LLC is seeking a System Administrator III in Maryland to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess an active TS/SCI with POLY.

You will support a large-scale Linux cluster, including installation of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution. Responsibilities include Tier 1/2 help desk support, configuring and managing UNIX and Windows systems, optimizing operations, and providing feedback to agency management.

Formación

• Experience performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environment.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solution.
• Familiarity using Splunk for big data analysis.
• Experience sustaining large Linux clusters and VM environments.
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and Ansible.
• Experience with containerization and Docker, and orchestration knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1/2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and related network components
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
• Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware and software integration
• Provide in-depth trouble-shooting of IT systems
• Provide feedback to agency management and customers for escalated tickets
