Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a Senior Linux Administrator to support global engineering IT and operating systems. You will patch, upgrade, and enhance Red Hat and Ubuntu environments, engage with engineers to diagnose issues, and automate using Python, DevOps workflows, Lambda, and AI/ML.

Strong English, customer focus, and U.S. work eligibility are required. Join an established IT operations team delivering secure, scalable Linux-based design environments with both cloud and on‑premises

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable experience.
Linux system resource and package management.
Network-attached storage integration.
Enterprise infrastructure and user support.
Automation platforms and system implementation.
Experience with ticketing systems.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident status.

Responsibilities

Implement system patches, upgrades, and enhancements for cloud and on-premises design environments.
Engage with engineering users to debug, manage, and solve issues and requests.
Automate and develop using Python, scripting languages, Dev-Ops Workflows, Lambda Functions and AI/ML.
Collaborate with the engineering IT team to enhance and improve the user experience through process and automation enhancements.
Route incidents and requests in engineering ticket queues to optimize user engagement within the extended team.
Handle incidents and requests using the ticketing systems adhering to defined SLAs.
Execute assigned tasks on engineering infrastructure projects.
