Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ with demonstrable work or project experience.
• Experience on Linux with high concurrency and reliability requirements.
• Deep understanding of kernel internals and memory usage.
• Strong debugging skills for kernel and system software.
• Ability to ship major features within a distributed team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical audiences.
• Experience applying AI to improve workflows and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-quality Linux system software for large-scale servers and clouds.
• Lead design reviews and provide substantive feedback to raise code quality.
• Represent technical positions in cross-org planning; communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Participate in planning, scope work, identify dependencies, and flag risks.
• Mentor junior engineers through feedback, pairing, and reviews.
• Investigate production incidents and build knowledge of failure modes at fleet scale.
• Drive improvements in end-to-end testing and validation for critical components.
