Job summary

Crossflow Technologies is seeking an experienced System Administrator (Linux) in Huntsville, AL. The role covers full systems administration, user support, and security hardening for Linux and Windows environments.

Qualified candidates will have 5–8 years of experience, RHEL administration, VMware ESXi, scripting (bash/python), and DoD 8570 IAT II clearance. Travel <10% and collaboration with government/contractor teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years Systems Administration experience.
• Must install, troubleshoot, repair, operate, and maintain computers and network equipment.
• Experience with Linux systems and RHEL System Administration.
• Experience with Gitlab.
• Security clearance requirements for DoD employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full systems administration and user support to local and remote users.
• Manage users, groups and accounts; administer the company domain; apply updates, patches, STIGs and security controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair software and hardware problems; work with a ticketing system.
• Engage in technical solutions for development environments and infrastructure upgrades.
• Travel up to 10% and coordinate with government and contractor teams.
