Noblesoft Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Linux Storage & Backup Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure in Cary, NC. You will manage Linux servers, storage arrays, and backup solutions with a focus on Data Domain and data protection.

Ideal candidates bring advanced Linux administration skills, hands-on Data Domain experience, and proficiency with NetBackup or Commvault to ensure reliable disaster recovery and SLA adherence across complex environments.

Qualifications

Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux).
Experience with enterprise storage technologies such as SAN/NAS.
Hands-on experience with Dell EMC Data Domain.
Experience with enterprise backup tools such as Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or similar.
Knowledge of backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery.
Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers in enterprise environments.
Administer storage infrastructure, including capacity, performance, and availability.
Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations.
Hands-on experience with Data Domain and enterprise backup solutions.
Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure backup/recovery SLAs.
Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
Support disaster recovery, backup policies, and data protection initiatives.
