Job summary

Captivation Software seeks a senior Software Engineer 4 to design, develop, and operate a scalable Linux-based stack for HPC metrics and monitoring, including automation and Splunk expertise. This role supports national security missions and requires TS/SCI clearance eligibility.

You will implement IaC and CI/CD practices with Ansible, GitLab CI, and Git, collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems in a government-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 10 years of SWE experience in similar programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 12 years of SWE experience in similar programs.
• 14 years of experience as a SWE in similar scope programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive distributed Metrics and Monitoring solution for HPC systems.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of HPC infrastructure.
• Proficient with Splunk and related data onboarding, alerting, and dashboard creation.
