Job summary

Referment is hiring a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer for its Platform Engineering team. This hands-on role involves maintaining Linux-based infrastructure across data centres, cloud environments and international offices. You will design, troubleshoot and integrate core services to support technology development and investment activity.

You will work with global teams on network, security and automation, bringing production depth and software-development instincts to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Ten years of infrastructure engineering experience with production systems.
• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and configuration-management tooling.
• Strong host- and network-level troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with automated builds, software deployment and CI/CD systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and maintain OS and infrastructure services, focusing on Linux.
• Contribute to global networks, core network services and security across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Improve the security framework of a large-scale production platform.
• Diagnose complex host and network issues using tracing and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues across a global engineering team and partner departments.
