Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Infrastructure Platform Engineering team to build, operate, and continuously improve Linux-based infrastructure platforms. You will apply strong engineering judgment to implement infrastructure as code, automation, and cloud-native practices, working with delivery teams to resolve complex issues and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Unix/Linux platforms.
• Hands-on Infra as Code and configuration management with Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Git.
• CI/CD tooling experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab) and cloud/hybrid environments (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate Linux-based infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions using Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, with Go/TypeScript scripts.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to resolve complex platform challenges and automate tasks.
• Ensure security, reliability, and compliance in line with organisational standards.
