Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead Linux and cloud infrastructure for the Linux client experience and large-scale AI agent compute platform. You will automate provisioning, patching, security hardening, and lifecycle management across physical systems, VMs, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Linux systems, infrastructure, platform, site reliability, or cloud engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience administering, securing, and optimizing Linux environments.
• Proven cloud architecture and engineering experience in AWS or Azure.
• Strong shell scripting and automation skills, including a configuration management platform such as Chef or Ansible.
• Experience using Terraform to provision infrastructure.
• Experience with AI-native development and coding agents to multiply developer productivity.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Leading Linux and cloud infrastructure initiatives, including architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and ongoing operations.
• Building automation using shell scripting, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Developing and maintaining automated workflows for Linux provisioning, patching, configuration, security hardening, and lifecycle management.
• Deploying and operating cloud infrastructure and integrating cloud services with on-premises environments.
• Collaborating with engineering teams across NVIDIA to deliver infrastructure capabilities that support meaningful business outcomes.
• Continuously improving the reliability, security, maintainability, and operational standards of our platform.
