Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to architect, build, and scale foundational infrastructure for demanding AI/ML workloads. You will own end-to-end platform services across cloud, compute, networking, and storage, with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and automation.

This hands-on technical leadership role requires deep Linux, networking, and cloud expertise, plus strong collaboration across multiple teams to drive architecture and implementation at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven success architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed platforms or infrastructure systems in production.
• Strong technical depth in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, compute, storage, or content delivery.
• Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, proxies, load balancing, and fault-tolerant design.
• Strong programming and automation skills with Python, Go, or similar languages; IaC experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and cross-layer troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale highly available platform services for AI/ML, distributed compute, and data workloads.
• Overlap across cloud, compute, GPU infrastructure, networking, storage, DNS, TLS, and load balancing.
• Own end-to-end design, production readiness, and large-scale adoption.
• Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code using Python, Go, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Networking, Security, AI/ML, and infra teams to solve cross-domain problems.
