Job summary

Burlington Stores is looking for a Senior Linux Platform Engineer responsible for the engineering, automation, and lifecycle management of Linux platforms. In this role, you will design scalable solutions across RHEL and SUSE environments, collaborate with various teams, and manage technical projects to enhance platform performance and reliability.

Your expertise in automation tools and strong Linux troubleshooting skills will be essential to deliver secure and operationally efficient services. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Linux engineering, systems engineering, or platform engineering.
• Strong experience with RHEL and/or SUSE Linux in enterprise settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Linux platform standards for RHEL and SUSE environments.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex incidents.
• Implement security controls and compliance measures for Linux platforms.
