Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to advance a mission-critical Linux environment on onsite work at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will manage containerized environments, ensure security, and optimize performance while collaborating with clients and engineers.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, strong automation experience, and hands-on administration of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and related tooling.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Linux administration.
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
Experience with containers such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.
Knowledge of SELinux, FApolicyd, STIG hardening, IdM/LDAP, and managing secrets/certificates.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize infrastructure focusing on architecture, security, and performance of systems and containers.
Provide customers insight into network performance through monitoring.
Identify problems and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.
Translate complex requirements into client/engineer solutions.
Share expertise through leadership and mentoring to develop new methodologies.
Identify opportunities to modernize the network to meet client goals.
