Crusoe is seeking a highly skilled Senior performance engineer to optimize Linux kernel internals and drive cross-functional projects. You will perform benchmarks, tune systems, and develop high-performance code in Go, C, C++, or Rust, impacting Crusoe’s global compute operations.

You will collaborate with Infra, Product, and other engineering teams to advance AI workload performance, applying a hands-on approach to problem-solving and optimization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems and kernel internals.
• Proficiency in Go, C, and C++ with Rust as an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute rigorous system benchmarks to analyze behavior and identify bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement low-level Linux kernel optimizations for throughput.
• Write high-performance code in Go, C, or C++ (Rust optional).
• Tune data plane performance to meet AI workload requirements.
• Collaborate with Software Infrastructure, Product, and other teams on performance goals.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to team documentation and best practices.
