Samsung SDS America, Inc. is seeking a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise Linux environments across on‑prem and cloud platforms. You will focus on Linux admin, Ansible automation, middleware, DNS, and CI/CD to ensure high availability and security.

This full‑time, onsite role requires commuting to Plano, TX five days a week. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of Linux engineering in enterprise environments and are eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Formación

• 8+ years hands-on Linux engineering in enterprise environments.
• Strong Linux internals knowledge, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with DNS, including DNSSEC and zone management.
• Experience with middleware platforms (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.).
• Proficiency with Ansible for automation and orchestration.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk.
• Security hardening, patching, and CIS benchmarks.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Must be eligible to work in the US; willing to commute to Plano.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, administer, and optimize large-scale Linux server environments.
• Support DNS, DHCP, NTP, load balancers, firewalls, and proxies.
• Deploy and maintain middleware platforms such as Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, WebLogic.
• Build automation for configuration management and provisioning with Ansible.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, OS.
• Manage OS patching, kernel upgrades, and security hardening.
• Support cloud workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks; participate in on-call.
