The role emphasizes design improvements, platform performance, and senior technical execution, with on-call rotations and mentoring responsibilities for junior admins.

Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on Linux administration in production environments.
• Hybrid on‑premises and cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/Azure).
• Resolve complex Linux OS, performance, networking, and cloud issues independently.
• Automate operations: patching, monitoring, and workflows.
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead Linux and cloud engineering for mission-critical environments.
• Design performance, availability, and security improvements; drive remediation.
• Serve as senior escalation point for incidents and outages.
• Engineer automation for configuration management and monitoring.
• Implement and refine cloud components (compute, storage, identity, networking).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and apps teams.
