Adaptiva is seeking a senior Linux Software Engineer to design and build scalable enterprise platforms. You will work on Linux-based backend services, build tools, and packaging for diverse distributions, ensuring high performance across architectures.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate build/test/deploy, and collaborate with developers, testers, and operations in a fast-paced, high-impact environment in Seattle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux software development experience.
• 2–3 examples of building software for multiple Linux distributions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Strong kernel/internal system knowledge and debugging skills.
• Experience with cross-architecture builds and package creation.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize Linux software across distributions.
• Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for Linux apps.
• Ensure compatibility across Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Red Hat; manage x86/ARM builds.
• Develop and maintain tests (unit/integration/end-to-end) inside CI pipelines.
• Create DEB and RPM packages and ensure packaging workflow.
