ESChat is the market leader in secure wireless push-to-talk communications. We are seeking a Linux C++ Software Engineer to develop software for our Push To Talk over Broadband product line. Ideal candidates are people with a passion for software development, have interest in and enjoy learning new programming languages and techniques, and can quickly get comfortable with new software frameworks, concepts and platforms.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of C++
• Experienced with Linux System Programming
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, preferably git
• Good knowledge of Networking technologies and protocols
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering

PREFERRED TOOLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Build tools: gcc, make
• Linux: command line utilities / Bash
• VoIP Communications

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Base Salary of $130k-$160k, depending on experience
• 3 weeks of PTO per and 11 holidays per year
