Job summary
BCMC seeks a Senior Linux Administrator to design, build, deliver, and operate a next generation network operations environment for a U.S. Government program.
You will contribute to a Threat Intelligence Database, automate tasks, and integrate AWS/Azure/Google Cloud services to enhance patching, DevOps, and security posture. Responsibilities include standardizing processes across CISA environments, implementing patching standards, and working with sponsors to improve metrics and interoperability
Qualifications
- BS or higher in CS/CE/IS or related field, or HS diploma with 7+ years lab or sysadmin experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required; DHS suitability needed.
- 5+ years Linux systems administration on RHEL 8/9/10.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS), security concepts.
Responsibilities
- Standardize processes across multiple CISA environments.
- Prioritize critical updates aligned with CISA IT cybersecurity objectives.
- Automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with government sponsors and ESS teams.
- Engineer and maintain Linux architectures (RHEL 8/9/10, AWS Linux).
- Implement patching across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
