Job summary

You will help deliver secure, reliable systems for space‑ground applications and drive modernization initiatives. The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 7+ years of Linux experience, and hands‑on work with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, and various cloud platforms, in collaboration with DevSecOps and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of infrastructure, network architecture, and development environments.
• Proven experience with Linux system administration across Dev/Test/Prod.
• Familiarity with information security and government compliance.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
• Certifications in cloud services and CISSP/Security+ are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of infrastructure environments.
• Perform Linux system administration across multi-environment infrastructure (Dev/Test/Prod).
• Apply security patches, OS upgrades, and maintain system integrity and compliance.
• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with COMMS teams.
• Conduct hardware deployments, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevSecOps teams for availability.
• Manage containerized environments and automated infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet).
• Create, manage, and automate cloud and VM infrastructure via scripts and playbooks.
• Maintain configuration documentation and provide SME input during design and development.
