Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a seasoned Linux Administrator to perform OS upgrades in hybrid VM and physical environments. The role involves scripting (Shell/Perl), HBA/NIC load balancing, and expanding automation with Ansible.

You will build and maintain Ansible playbooks, integrate with CI/CD, and support patch management, user provisioning, and system hardening. Weekend/on-call shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Linux Administration experience, 5-8 years.
• Experience with OS upgrades and provisioning.
• Familiarity with RAC/VCS clusters and load balancing.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS upgrades in complex VM/physical environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot HBA and NIC load balancing.
• Develop and maintain Ansible automation for provisioning, patching, user management and hardening.
• Create Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare RCA and provide on-call support as per schedule.
