Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 6+ years Linux administration with strong cybersecurity focus.
• 4+ years RMF DoD security program experience.
• 2+ years virtualization infra (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenShift).
• Experience with endpoint protection and security tools (ePO, Trellix).
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and secure Linux-based solutions per guidelines.
• Harden systems; manage vulnerabilities aligned with RMF/NIST standards.
• Monitor security events and respond to incidents for Linux environments.
• Document security posture and change controls (POAMs, updates).
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve operations and reduce risk.
• Support virtualization and storage platforms (VMware, OpenShift, NetApp, Veeam).
