Job summary

Universal Kids Resort is seeking an experienced Line Cook to support multi-unit operations. You may lead the Line Cook during service and assist the Sous Chef with ordering and inventory. You will train new team members and rotate across stations to ensure high-quality food preparation and safety.

Cross-training across all food stations and proficiency in food safety are essential. The role requires availability for a full-time schedule and adherence to Texas HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Line Cook experience required.
• Chef’s Apprentice preferred.
• Certified Professional Food Manager certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Line Cook duties across all kitchen stations to meet standards.
• Lead Line Cooks during service when directed by culinary leadership.
• Train new team members in basic food safety and prep processes.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and basic inventory tracking.
